Our service is being organized in different packages in order to satisfy specific client requirements.

 

The basic service package consists of a simple use of the Affymetrix platform : the target synthesis is the responsbility of the client, then Genopolis will perform all the remaining steps from the hybridization to the end of the procedure. The generated data files are sent back to the client in combination with the data analysis report.

 

The standard service starts with the synthesis of the target, since the sample is provided by the client as extracted and purified Genomic DNA. Both quality and purity of Genomic DNA samples are crucial to ensure a successful outcome, so we can suggest the best extraction procedure. If alternative methods have been used, a quality control test is required. A consultation before proceeding with the extraction is expected.

General requirements for genomic DNA to be processed: double-strand DNA; free of PCR inhibitors (i.e. EDTA); not contaminated by other genomic DNA from human or other organisms; not highly degraded (major band at approximately 10-20Kb is expected); water resuspended genomic DNA.
